CNG PNG Price Hike 2021: Check new rates in Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad
The retail price for Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) has been revised from Rs 43.40 per kg to Rs 44.30 per kg. The revised price will be effective from July 8, 2021.

Apart from the alteration in the price of CNG, the Piped Natural Gas (PNG) domestic price will be Rs 29.66 per Standard Cubic Meter (SCM) as per a report by news agency ANI. Furthermore, the CNG price Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, has been revised from Rs 49.08 per kg to Rs 49.98 per kg with effect from today, July 8, 2021. Furthermore, the PNG domestic price to be Rs 29.66 per SCM.
News agency ANI also tweeted about this revision in the prices of CNG and PNG. ANI tweeted, "CNG retail price in Delhi revised from Rs 43.40/kg to Rs 44.30/kg w.e.f 8th July; PNG domestic price to be Rs 29.66 per SCM. CNG retail price in Noida, Greater Noida & Ghaziabad revised from Rs 49.08/kg to Rs 49.98/kg w.e.f 8th July; PNG domestic price to be Rs 29.61 per SCM."
Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) from its official Twitter handle mentioned that the revised prices will come into effect at Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad from 6 AM of July 8, 2021. IGL also tweeted that CNG would offer 68 per cent savings as compared to petrol and 50 per cent savings as compared to diesel on running cost at revised prices in Delhi.
The tweet said, "CNG would offer 68% savings as compared to petrol and 50% savings as compared to diesel on running cost at revised prices in Delhi."
One must note that the revision in the prices for CNG and PNG will be applicable from July 8, 2021, 6 AM onwards.
