News agency ANI has reported that based on the data from August 1, 2021, to August 7, 2021, the value of export stood at $7.41 billion. The same agency also informed that the value of exports between August 1, 2021, and August 7, 2021, at $7.41 billion is also an increase of 27.51 per cent over the same period in 2019-20. Furthermore, the export excluding POL, has also increased in the same period by 42.89 per cent over the same period in 2020-21.
ANI has tweeted about the value of exports from its official Twitter handle, "Based on data from 1st -7th Aug, 2021, the value of export is 7.41 billion USD, up by 50.45% over the same period of 2020-21 & up by 27.51% over same period of 2019-20. Export excluding POL, has also increased in this period by 42.98% over same period of 2020-21: Govt of India."

The agency said that the export excluding POL has increased by 26.83 per cent over the same period in 2019-2020.

On July 23, 2021, ANI tweeted that the Commerce Ministry has informed that the value of exports in the third week of July stood at $8.02 billion. It was an increase by 42.73 per cent over the same period of July in 2020.
The tweet from ANI said, "Value of Indian exports in 3rd week of July, 2021 is USD 8.02 billion, up by 42.73% over the same period of July 2020 (USD 5.62 billion). Value of imports is USD 9.97 billion, increased by 46.86% over the same period of July 2020 (USD 6.79 billion): Commerce Ministry."

It has to be noted that the value of imports stood at $9.97 billion which was an increase by 46.86 per cent over the same period of July in 2020. In the same period of July 2020, the value of import stood at $6.79 billion.
