The US market traded mixed amid volatility. The Dow closed down 30 points amid trading in a range of 550 points. Whereas, Nasdaq jumped 1% on a strong rise in IT stocks. Alphabet's stock jumped 4% due to the announcement of new products. Apart from this, Google has launched its first and much-awaited foldable smartphone, Pixel Fold. Google added Generative AI to search. Shares of Microsoft and Apple rose 1-2%. Shares of First Citizens Bank jumped 8% after good results. Retail inflation came down to 4.9% in April as against the estimate of 5%.
