US markets fell for the third consecutive day on fear of recession. Dow Jones fell 107 points to end at 30,077 points and Nasdaq fell 153 points to close at 11,067. The S&P 500 fell 0.84%. Russell 2000 fell 2.25%. European markets slipped 1-2%. US Dollar Index hit a new 20-year high at 111.80. Japan markets will remain closed today.
