Punjab National Bank (PNB) shares surged to a 52-week high on Dec 4, riding the wave of market optimism triggered by the BJP's landslide win in recent state elections. The stock soared 3.21%, hitting a peak of Rs 84.60, as the broader Nifty PSU Bank index also jumped 3.33%.
