Market Today: Sensex ends 235 points up, Nifty above 11,650

After opening higher the headline indices Sensex and Nifty extended gains in the afternoon trade on Tuesday. The Sensex closed 235 points to 39,131.04 while the Nifty is closed above the 11,650-mark. Yes Bank shares ended the session 14% higher at Rs 103.90, while Tata Motors shares ended the session 6% to Rs 169.85.
