Stock Market: Major indices of the market closed in the green. Sensex closed 178 points higher at 72,026, which slipped to 71,779 intraday. Nifty has also recovered from the day's low of 21,629 and closed at 21,710. Maximum purchasing in the market was recorded in IT stocks.
