Final Trade: Stock markets closed with weakness, Nifty ends near 16,300, Sensex declines by around 350 points

On Monday, the first trading day of the week, the stock markets closed with weakness. Indian stock markets closed with a red mark in Monday's trading session. There was a lot of volatility in the stock markets in today's trading session. However, at the time of opening, there was a decline of up to 800 points in the market. But later there was a slight recovery in the market and Sensex and Nifty were seen trading red marks with recovery. The Sensex saw a fall of 364.91 points and the index closed at the level of 54,470.67. Apart from this, the Nifty 50 index closed at 16,301.85 with a fall of 109 points. In today's trading session, 1066 shares were seen buying, while 2402 shares were sold and 146 shares did not show any change.
