Final Trade: Stock Markets closed with strong action; Sensex surges over 1300 points, Nifty50 up 400 points as metal stocks take lead

Strong action was seen in the stock markets on the second trading day of the week. After the listing of LIC IPO in the stock market, there was a great rally in the market and the Sensex closed with a gain of 1400 points. The Sensex saw a rise of 1344.63 points and the index closed at the level of 54,318.47. On the other hand, the Nifty 50 index has also seen a strong rise. Nifty 50 has seen a rise of more than 400 points and this index has closed beyond 16250. In today's trading session, buying has been seen in 2,627 shares, while there has been a sell-off in 715 shares. Apart from this, no change has been seen in 120 shares.
