Final Trade: Stock market continued to fall for the second consecutive day, Sensex closed down by 47 points, Nifty down by 7 points.

Stock Market: Maximum selling in the market was in IT, FMCG and government banking sectors. Whereas there was buying in metal and pharma sectors. During this period, the midcap index remained bullish for the 17th consecutive day.
