Final Trade: Stock Market Closed With Red Mark, Nifty Near 16,500, Sensex Declines 185 Points

In today's trading session, there was extreme volatility in the market. There was a fall of 185.24 points in the Sensex and the index closed at the level of 55,381.17. Apart from this, the Nifty 50 index saw a decline of about 62 points and this index has managed to close near the level of 16,500.
