Final Trade: Sensex gains 700 points, Nifty near 17500, ONGC top loser

Today the stock market closed with strong momentum. Sensex and Nifty closed strong with green mark. The Sensex gained 740.34 points and the index closed at 58,683.99. Apart from this, the Nifty 50 index saw a rise of 173 points and this index managed to close at the level of 17,498.30.
