Final Trade: Sensex Ends 236 Points Lower, Nifty Below 16,150; IT, Metals, Pharma Slip

On Tuesday, the second trading day of the week, the Indian stock markets closed with a red mark. Strong action was seen in the stock markets in today's trading session and Nifty closed below its above levels. There was a fall of 236.00 points in the Sensex and the index closed at the level of 54,052.61. Apart from this, the Nifty 50 index declined by 89.50 points to close at 16,125.20. In today's trading session, buying was seen in 1005 shares and selling was seen in 2220 shares. No change was seen in 121 shares.
