Final Trade: Sensex breaks 400 points, Nifty below 18000, HDFC Bank top loser

During the second trading session of the week, there was a lot of volatility in the stock market. Sensex and Nifty closed with red mark in today's trading session. The Sensex saw a sharp fall of 400 points, while the Nifty 50 index also lost more than 100 points. There was a fall of 435.24 points in the Sensex and the index closed at the level of 60,176.50. Apart from this, there was a fall of 96 points in the Nifty 50 index and this index managed to close at the level of 17,957.40. Buying was seen in 2280 shares, while selling was seen in 1035 shares. Apart from this, there was no change in 97 shares.
