Final Trade: Nifty falls below 17200, Sensex fell 100 points, bank decline most

On the day of weekly expiry, the stock markets closed with a slight recovery. Indian stock markets closed flat. When the Nifty closed below 17250, the Sensex fell by 100 points. The Sensex closed at 57,595.68, down 89.14 points, or 0.15 percent. Apart from this, closing was also seen in Nifty 50 with red mark. This index managed to fall by 22.90 points i.e. 0.13 percent to 17,222.80.
