Final Trade: Market closed with a huge fall, investors lost â,¹ 1.9 lakh crore

Share Market: Heavy selling was recorded in the share market on Friday. BSE Sensex closed down 887 points at 66,684. Nifty also closed at 19,745 with a fall of 234 points. The major reason for the selling in the market was the sharp selling in entire IT stocks including Infosys. Infosys closed down 8%. Due to the huge fall in the stock market, investors suffered huge losses.
