Cumin: Jeera prices have soared in recent weeks amid worries related to production owing to unseasonal rains and hailstorms in key producing state Rajasthan. The market is expecting a lower yield and quality of jeera this season. At present, jeera is trading in the price range of Rs 58,000 to Rs 59,000 per quintal in the major mandis of the country.
