In a volatile trading, the Indian markets closed the Wednesday’s session in the red, as both the benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty, slipped over 300 points and below the 17900-mark, respectively. The decline is mainly led by the banking and financial stocks, along with index heavyweight Reliance Industries at the market close. The BSE Sensex slumped 314 points or 0.52 per cent to 60008, and the Nifty dipped over 100 points or 0.56 per cent to 17898 levels at the market close.
