Hero MotoCorp: Down 0.03%. Royal Enfield-maker Eicher Motors has reported a consolidated profit of Rs 237 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021. It had posted a loss of Rs 55 crore in the year-ago quarter.

Ashok Leyland: Down 2.62%. The automotive manufacturer has reported a standalone loss of Rs 282 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021, as compared to a loss of Rs 389 crore posted in the year-ago quarter. Revenue from operations grew 353.3% YoY to Rs 2,951 crore as compared to Rs 651 crore. EBITDA loss stands at Rs 140 crore in Q1FY22 as compared to an EBITDA loss of Rs 333 crore posted in Q1FY21.
Highlights:
Tata Steel: Down 2.10%. The steel marker Tata Steel has reported a consolidated profit of Rs 9,768 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021, as compared to a consolidated loss of Rs 4,648 crore posted in the year-ago quarter. Sequentially, the profit grew 42.50% from Rs 6,644 crore posted in the previous quarter ended March 31, 2021.
Aurobindo Pharma: Down 7.62%. The pharmaceutical company has reported a 2% YoY decline in the consolidated profit at Rs 770 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021, as compared to Rs 783 crore posted in the year-ago period. Sequentially, the profit dropped 3.87% from Rs 801 crore posted in the previous quarter ended March 31, 2021.
Gujarat Pipavav Port: Down 2.01%. The all-weather port has reported a 31% YoY drop in the consolidated profit at Rs 33 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021. It had posted a profit of Rs 48 crore in the year-ago quarter.
GR Infraprojects: Up 3.78%. The integrated road EPC company has reported a 109% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 222 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021. It had posted a profit of Rs 106 crore posted in the year-ago quarter.
Engineers India: The state-owned engineering services company has reported a 94% YoY drop in the consolidated profit at Rs 2.68 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021. It had posted a profit of Rs 48 crore in the year-ago quarter.
ITI: Down 2.25%. Telecommunications equipment company Indian Telephone Industries (ITI) Limited has reported a consolidated loss of Rs 88 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021. It had posted a loss of Rs 102 crore posted in the year-ago quarter.
MIDHANI: Down 0.02%. State-owned specialized metals and metal alloys manufacturing company has reported a consolidated profit of Rs 19 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021. It had posted a consolidated loss of Rs 0.95 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Goa Carbon Ltd.: Down 1.08%. The petrochemical company Goa Carbon has reported a consolidated profit of Rs 0.1 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021. It had posted a consolidated loss of Rs 5 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd: Down 2.15%. The lubricant manufacturing and marketing company has reported a 76% YoY rise in the profits at Rs 30 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021. It had posted a profit of Rs 17 crore in the year-ago quarter.

Tata Motors: Up 0.04%. Tata Motors Ltd, India’s largest vehicle maker is preparing to raise funds of up to $100 crore (Rs 7,500 crore) for its new electric vehicle (EV) business. The total EV business value at nearly $700 crore (Rs 35,000 crore). Reportedly, the company is in talks to raise funds with Global Funds and has approached companies like Blackstone, TPG Capital, KKR. The company may transfer EV business to Step Down subsidiary. In March, shareholders approved the demerger of the PV business.
Interglobe Aviation (up 0.37%)/SpiceJet (up 1.19%): The Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) on Thursday issued an order allowing domestic airlines to increase flight capacity to 72.5% from 65% with immediate effect. It has increased the cap on special flights that operate between India and the U.K. from 30 to 60 flights per week. The new rules will come into effect from August 16, 2021.
Zensar Technologies: Up 2.06%. Zensar expands its City of San Diego relationship by winning a Multi-Year Contract. It has announced that it has signed a four year, multi-million-dollar contract with the City of San Diego for Workplace and Enterprise Compute Manage IT Services. The contract has the option of extension of two additional two-year terms with the total not to exceed the value of $122 million.
Wockhardt: Up 5.62%. The company has signed an agreement with Enso Healthcare to manufacture and supply the Sputnik V/Sputnik Light vaccine against COVID-19. The Company will manufacture and supply to Enso up to 620 million doses of the Sputnik V vaccine and the Sputnik Light vaccine against Covid-19
L&T: Up 2.24%. The Heavy Engineering arm of Larsen Et Toubro has won all orders for Oxidation Reactor from Technip Energies-India against stiff global competition. This order for the technologically critical Titanium Clad Reactor is for a Public Sector Petrochemical project for Purified Terephthalic Acid plant.
Cadila: Up 3.28%. Zydus Cadila receives final approval from USFDA for Mesalamine Extended-Release Capsules
