Vodafone Idea FPO: Here is how to check allotment and other details

Vodafone Idea FPO: Vodafone Idea's Rs 18,000 crore follow-on public offer (FPO) closed for bidding on Monday (April 22). The window for the FPO application was open from April 18 to April 22, and its allotment status is likely to be revealed today (April 23). 

The telecom company's FPO was subscribed 6.99 times as of 5:27 pm on Monday, April 22, 2024. Category-wise, the retail portion was subscribed 1.01 times, while the QIB category saw a subscription of 19.31 times. The NII portion was subscribed 4.54 times.

Investors who have applied for the FPO can check the status following the below-given process.

 Here is how one can check allotment status on BSE 

Step 1: Visit https://www.bseindia.com/investors/appli_check.aspx

Step 2: Select Equity

Step 3: Under the issue name, select Vodafone Idea Limited in the dropbox

Step 4: Write the application number

Step 5: Add the PAN card ID

Step 6: Click on 'I am not a Robot' and hit the search button. 

How to check allotment status via the registrar portal.

Step 1: Go to the web portal of Link Intime Limited

Step 2: Select the IPO/FPO from the dropdown;

Step 3: You may be required to select either one of the three modes: Application number, Demat Account number, or PAN ID

Step 4: In application type, select between ASBA and non-ASBA

Step 5: Enter the details of the mode you selected in Step 2

Step 6: For security purposes, fill in the captcha accurately

Step 7: Select submit.

What will Vodafone Idea do with Rs 18,000 crore?

The company will use the capital for 4G coverage, 5G rollout, and capacity expansion. Rs 7,030 crore will be utilised for new 4G sites and expansions, Rs 5,720 crore for new 5G sites, and Rs 2,175 crore for Spectrum payment to DoT.

At around 12:26 p.m., shares of Vodafone Idea were up over 12.75 per cent, or Rs 1.62, at Rs 14.51 apiece.
