1750% DIVIDEND STOCK: Vedanta fixes record date 2022, ex date and payment date | Vedanta Share Price NSE India Target

Vedanta Share Price, Vedanta Dividend 2022, Vedanta Dividend Ex Date, Vedanta Dividend Date 2022, Vedanta Dividend Record Date: Mining company Vedanta has announced to pay the third interim dividend to its shareholders for the current financial year (2022-23). The company in an exchange filing on Tuesday, November 22, informed that it would pay a whopping 1750 per cent dividend per share to its existing shareholders, amounting to Rs 6,505 crore. The company has already paid Rs 51 dividend in the current fiscal. 

Vedanta Dividend 2022, Amount Per Share

The company will pay 1750 per cent interim dividend per share to its shareholders of face value Re 1 each. This translates into Rs 17.50 per equity share.

It means that if a person holds 100 shares of Vedanta, the company would pay him Rs 1750 dividend.

"The board of directors of the company through resolution passed by circulation on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 have approved third interim dividend of Rs 17.50 per equity share i.e. 1750 per cent on face value of Re 1 per share for the financial Year 2022-23 amounting to Rs 6,505 crore," Vedanta said in a filing to BSE.

The mining giant's gross debt stood at Rs 58,597 crore as on September 30.

Vedanta Dividend Record Date 2022

Vedanta has also fixed the record date for the payment of Rs 17.50 dividend. 

As per the filing, the record date for the purpose of payment of dividend is November 30, the company said.

Vedanta Dividend Ex Date 2022

Vedanta stocks will trade ex-dividend date a business before the record date. Accordingly, Vedanta stocks ex-dividend would be November 29.

Vedanta Dividend Payment Date 2022 

Vedanta in the filing said that the interim dividend will be paid within stipulated timelines as prescribed under law.

Vedanta Dividend History 2022

Vedanta had earlier approved first interim dividend of Rs 31.5 and second interim dividend of Rs 19.50 per equity share.

Moody's Investors Service had earlier said a large dividend from its cash-rich India operating arm has boosted billionaire Anil Agarwal-led Vedanta Resources' efforts to refinance debt.

On April 28, Vedanta Ltd announced that its board of directors approved an interim dividend of Rs 11,710 crore (USD 1.56 billion), of which USD 1.02 billion will be received by its holding company Vedanta Resources Limited (VRL).

Vedanta Share Price NSE Target 

Brokerage firm Citi has given a Sell call on Vedanta with a price target of Rs 235 apiece. 

Vedanta has yielded a positive return of more than 10 per cent in the past 1 month.
