Triveni Engineering Share Buyback News, Triveni Engineering Buyback Date 2022: Triveni Engineering & Industries, NSE: TRIVENI, has announced a share buyback programme. According to an exchange filing by the company, Triveni Engineering will buy back up to 2,28,57,142 equity shares of face value Rs 1 at a price not exceeding Rs 350 apiece worth Rs 800 crore through the tender offer process.

“The Board of Directors of at its meeting approved the proposal for the buyback of Equity Shares at a price of ₹350/- per equity share up to an aggregate amount not exceeding ₹800 Crore from the shareholders of the Company on a proportionate basis through a tender offer," the company said in an exchange filing.

Triveni Engineering Share Record Date

The company has fixed the record date as December 23.

Triveni Engineering added that “the company has fixed Friday, December 23, 2022, as the Record Date for the purpose of determining the entitlement and the names of the holders of the Equity Shares who shall be eligible to participate in the Buyback."

Meanwhile, shares of Triveni Engineering dropped in early morning deals on Thursday, December 22. The opened at Rs 284.65 apiece on NSE, declining more than 3 per cent from the previous close of Rs 293.10.

YTD, Triveni Engineering has yielded a positive return of 31 per cent. Putting into perspective, Triveni Engineering stock which was available for Rs 224.15 apiece on January 3, is now available at around Rs 293. At current levels, the stock has a market cap of Rs 6.89 thousand crore.
