Torrent Pharma Dividend News: Drugmaker Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd, NSE: TORNTPHARM, has declared an interim dividend for its shareholders. The board of the Torrent Pharma on January 25, Wednesday, announced to pay a whopping 280 per cent dividend while releasing its third quarter result.
Torrent Pharma Dividend Amount
The Ahmedabad-headquartered company in an exchange filing said that it will pay an interim dividend of Rs 14 per equity share of face value Rs 5 each. "An interim dividend of 14/- (280 %) per equity share of Rs 5/- fully paid up," the company said in the filing.
Torrent Pharma Dividend Payment Date
The dividend amount will be credited directly into the shareholders' bank account linked to their Demat account on the payment date. The payment date shall be February 14. "The dividend is expected to be paid/ dispatched on or around 14th February, 2023," it added in the filing.
Meanwhile, shares of Torrent Pharma traded at Rs 1,530 down by 1.70 per cent or Rs 24.75 apiece on the NSE on Friday around noon. The stock has yielded a moderate return of around 14 per cent in the past 1 year.
Torrent Pharma Q3 FY23 results
Torrent Pharma on Wednesday said its consolidated net profit increased by 14 per cent to Rs 283 crore in the third quarter ended December 31, 2022. The drug firm had reported a net profit of Rs 249 crore in the October-December period of previous fiscal.
The company's net sales increased to Rs 2,459 crore in the quarter under review as against Rs 2,092 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a regulatory filing.
