Sun Pharma Q3 Results: The pharmaceutical major reported a 5.2 per cent year-on-year increase in net profit to Rs 2,166 crore for the quarter ended December 2022.

Sun Pharma on Tuesday reported a net profit of Rs 2,166 crore for the quarter ended December 2022, marking an increase of 5.2 per cent compared with the corresponding period a year ago.

Its revenue came in at Rs 11,241 crore for the three-month period, up 14 per cent on a year-on-year basis.

According to Zee Business research, Sun Pharma's quarterly net profit was estimated at Rs 2,019 crore, revenue at Rs 11,078 crore and margin at 26 per cent.

Sun Pharma's board approved an interim dividend of Rs 7.5 per share.
