Stocks to buy today: List of 20 stocks for profitable trade on May 26

The Indian market ended in the red for the third consecutive session on Wednesday as benchmarks Nifty50 and the Sensex declined by more than half per cent each. Meanwhile, Asian indices were trading mixed in the early trade on Thursday. SGX Nifty Futures, which indicates trend for the Indian market, was trading higher by 80 points on the Singaporean exchange in the morning. Japanese Nikkei 225 was trading flat with positive bias, Hang Seng Index at the Hong Kong Exchange dropped more than one per cent, while Chinese Shanghai Composite was trading lower by 0.7%. 

Earlier, on Wednesday, the US markets made a strong recovery from lower levels as Dow Jones ended with a gain of over 190 points, Nasdaq ended higher by 170 points and S&P 500 rose 37 points.

Earlier, Indian market was pulled down largely by massive profit booking in massive IT, midcap and small cap stocks. Nifty IT had declined 3.38% and Nifty midcap and small cap ended lower by 2.4% and 3.4% respectively on Wednesday.
