Stocks to buy today: List of 20 stocks for profitable trade on May 10

The Indian market ended with more than half per cent cuts, extending the losing streak to second day on Monday. The broader Nifty50 closed around 16,300 and the Sensex declined by 350 points as domestic equity market benchmarks closed with 0.67% each. Underperforming headline indices, Nifty midcap and small cap dropped 1.7% and 2.3% respectively. The 12-share Bank Nifty too declined by more than 300 points to settle around 34, 300. Sectorally, except for Nifty IT, all other indices slipped in the red with banking, energy and metal declining the most. 

Meanwhile, all major Asian markets were seen trading negative in the early trade on Tuesday. Japanese Nikkei 225 was down 1.3%, Hang Seng Index at the Hong Kong Exchange dropped around 2.5% and Chinese Shanghai was trading with minor 0.10% cut on Tuesday.  

Besides, SGX Nifty Futures, which indicates opening trend for the Indian market, was trading lower by over 100 points on the Singaporean exchange around 8 am on Tuesday.

Earlier, the US markets fell for the third day in a stretch as Dow Jones slipped nearly 2%, Nasdaq over 4%, S&P 500 over 3% and Russell 2000 dropped more than 4% on Monday.
