Stocks to buy today: List of 20 stocks for profitable trade on February 8

The Indian markets closed in the red for the third consecutive session on Monday with headline indices turning effectively negative in 2022 as Nifty and the Sensex corrected almost 3 per cent each. The broader Nifty50 ended near 17,200, while the Sensex slipped more than 1000 points in Monday's closing, dragged by financial services, FMCG, Nifty banking and healthcare services shares.  

On Tuesday, Asian indices were trading mixed as Japanese Nikkei 225 was up 0.40%, Hang Seng Index at the Hong Kong Exchange was trading lower by 0.70% and Shanghai Composite flat with negative bias as the index traded 0.03% lower around 7.45 am.  

In a positive signal for the Indian markets, the SGX Nifty Futures was trading higher by 49.50 points or 0.29% to 17,263.50 at the Singaporean Exchange around 7.50 am on Tuesday.

The US market too ended mixed on Monday as the Dow Jones closed with 1.39% gain, Nasdaq Composite witnessed a cut of 0.58%, S&P500 declined by 0.37% and Russell 2000 was up 0.51%.
