Stocks to Buy Today: Snaping two days losing streak, the Indian markets closed with more than one per cent gains on Tuesday. The Nifty50 gained 1.4% and the Sensex jumped 1.3% with the indices ending at 17,200 and 57,356 respectively. All sectors settled in the green, but realty, auto indices rose most on Tuesday. The 12-share bank Nifty too closed over 300 points higher around 36,400.  

Meanwhile, Asian markets were trading deep in red on Wednesday as Japanese Nikkei 225 dropped nearly 2% in the opening trade, Hang Seng Index at the Hong Kong Exchange was down .8% and Chinese Shanghai Composite was trading lower by 0.5% in the early trade.  

Hinting at weakness in the Indian market, SGX Nifty Futures was trading lower by 180 points on the Singaporean Exchange around 8.30 am on Tuesday.  

Earlier, US market closed took a severe trashing on Tuesday as it slipped in the red amid weak q4 numbers and selling pressure in tech shares. Dow Jones fell over 800 points, S&P 500 dropped 121 points and Nasdaq closed lower by more than 500 points.
