Stocks to buy today: 20 stocks for profitable trade on November 25

Benchmark indices Nifty50 and S&P BSE Sensex erased opening gains to close on negative note on Wednesday. Both the indices shed 0.50% during the yesterday's closing.  Nifty gave up 17,500 as the index was down 88.30 points or 0.5% to close at 17,415.05, while Sensex ended 324.34% or 0.55% to 58,340.99.

Nifty IT, FMCG & Auto were the top laggards, while Media, PSU Bank gained marginally. Tata Consumer, Maruti, Infosys were down nearly 2.5 per cent each. 

In the Asian Markets, indices were seen trading positive or flat in the early trade on Thursday. Japanese Nikkei 225 Index traded 240 points up to 29,541, Hang Seng of the Hong Kong Exchange and China's Shanghai Composite traded flat around 7.15 am.    

Earlier on Tuesday, the US markets closed mixed as Dow Jones recovered 200 points to close flat with negative bias, while Nasdaq Composite and S&P 500 ended in the green. Dow Jones slipped 9 points to 35,804, Nasdaq Composite gained 70 points to 15,845 and S&P 500 was up 11 points to 4701 on Wednesday.
