Stocks in News Today, November 11: Sensex and Nifty are likely to open in green on Friday i.e. November 11 as SGX Nifty - which is traded on the Singapore stock exchange - traded 332.5 points, or 1.84 per cent, higher at 18,429.5 in the early trade. This signals that Dalal Street may be headed for a positive start after it declined for the second straight day. While the 30-share BSE benchmark ended 419.85 points or 0.69 per cent lower at 60,613.70, the broader NSE Nifty fell 128.80 points or 0.71 per cent to end at 18,028.20.
Asian markets too traded higher in morning trade. While Japan’s Nikkei 225 jumped more than 2 per cent in early trade, South Korea’s Kospi was up by more than 3 per cent.
Meanwhile, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq jumped on Thursday, racking up their biggest daily percentage gains in about two-and-half years. The S&P 500 gained 207.80 points, or 5.54 per cent, to end at 3,956.37 points, while the Nasdaq Composite gained 760.972 points, or 7.35 per cent, to 11,114.147. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 1,201.43 points, or 3.70 per cent, to 33,715.37.

Mahindra & Mahindra: M&M is likely to announce its second quarter results ending September today and is expected to report strong growth in sales and profit. It is worth mentioning that the company reported the highest-ever monthly sales of 64,486 units in the auto segment in September.
Hindalco: Hindalco Industries Ltd may declare its second quarter results today and it is expected that the aluminium major would report a year-on-year decline of about 30 per cent. Share of the company had dropped by Rs 2.30, or 0.55 per cent, to close at 414.80 apiece in the last trading session on Thursday.
Apollo Hospitals: Apollo Hospitals' consolidated net profit has declined 20 per cent to Rs 213 crore in the second quarter ended September. The healthcare major had reported a net profit of Rs 267 crore in the July-September period of the previous fiscal.
Eicher Motors: Eicher Motors on Thursday said its consolidated profit after tax increased 76 per cent to Rs 657 crore in the September quarter, aided by brisk sales across domestic and international markets. The company reported a net profit of Rs 373 crore for July-September 2021-22.
DCX Systems: DCX Systems IPO will make its stock market debut today, November 11. DCX System is one of the leading manufacturers of electronic sub-systems and cable harnesses in the country. Confirming the listing date of DCX shares, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) website said that shares of DCX Systems Ltd will be admitted to dealing on the Exchange in a Special Pre-open Session (SPOS) on Friday.

Zomato: Online food delivery platform Zomato on Thursday reported narrowing of its consolidated net loss to Rs 250.8 crore for the second quarter ended September 2022. The company's consolidated net loss stood at Rs 434.9 crore in the year-ago period. Revenue from operations increased to Rs 1,661.3 crore during the July-September quarter, as against Rs 1,024.2 crore in the corresponding period of the previous financial year, it said in a regulatory filing.
Indian Hotels: Indian HotelsThe Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) on Thursday reported a consolidated profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 129.59 crore for the September quarter following growth in travel demand.The company has posted a loss of Rs 130.92 crore during the corresponding quarter in the previous financial year, IHCL said in a statement.
