The Indian markets extended gains for the third straight session on Wednesday, as the Sensex jumped almost 700 points and Nifty50 settled at 17780-level. Similarly, even Nifty mid-cap index closed positive by over 1 per cent, mainly led by Dr Lal Path Labs, Can Fin Homes and Oracle.

Q3 Results on Thursday: 

In heavyweights, FMCG major ITC and billionaire investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala’s favourite company Titan is scheduled to release their third quarter results. 

Similarly, other important companies from boarder markets such as Godrej Properties, Cadila Healthcare, Adani Power, Adani Transmission are also set to come out with their October-December quarter earnings for FY22. 

After Market Earnings  

FMCG heavyweight Tata Consumers reported healthy Q3 numbers for FY22, wherein profit came at Rs 288 crore, up 5 per cent and revenue was posted flat at Rs 3208 crore YoY on Wednesday. 

Tyre company Apollo Tyres reported mixed Q3FY22 earnings as net profit came at Rs 223.5 crore, down 49.6 per cent YoY and revenue at Rs 5,707.5 crore up almost 10 per cent YoY. 

M&M Financial registered a profit at Rs 893.8 crore as compared to loss of Rs 274.1 crore and net interest margin surge over 14 per cent to Rs 1580 crore in the December-end quarter of FY22. 

Adani Total Gas’ consolidated Q3FYww profit came at Rs 127.6 crore, down 19.3 per cent and revenue at Rs 883 crore, up 36.3 per cent YoY 

Welspun Enterprises’ consolidated Q3 profit came at Rs 16.6 crore from Rs 50.71 crore and revenue at Rs 241.5 crore as against Rs 423.2 crore YoY

Interim Dividend  

La Opala RG, a glass products manufacturing company, in which Ashish Kacholia has taken fresh position in December quarter is set announce interim dividend of 75 per cent at Rs 1.5 apiece.  

Similarly, other prominent stocks that are also scheduled to announce the interim dividend are: Indian Energy Exchange (100 per cent at Re 1 apiece); Motilal Oswal Financial (700 per cent at Rs 7 apiece), NTPC (40 per cent at Rs 4 apiece); Zensar Tech (75 per cent at Rs 1.5 apiece) among others. 

Bonus Issue & Stock Split: 

At least two stocks from broader markets are about to issue bonus on Thursday, as per their exchange filing. In this, Parshva Enterprises to issue bonus 205:100 and Sword-Edge Commercials to issue bonus 1:1. 

Similarly, Akash Exploration Services, Integra Garments and Sindhu Trade Links as scheduled to split their stocks from Rs 10 to Re 1; from Rs 3 to Re 1 and from Rs 10 to Re 1 per share respectively.
