Stocks in news: From aftermarket results to corporate actions – Airtel, IRCTC, Godrej Consumer, Castrol India, TVS Motor scrips to watch for on Tuesday

For the third straight session, the Indian markets slipped on Monday with a major selling seen in heavyweights. The BSE Sensex closed over 1000 points lower and Nifty50 settled below 17250-mark, while Nifty Mid-cap declined over 1 per cent outperforming the benchmarks at the market close.

Q3 Results on Tuesday 

Index heavyweight Bharti Airtel along with other prominent mid-cap companies such as Godrej Consumer Products and IRCTC to also release their results on Tuesday. Other stocks such as Gujarat Gas, NMDC, Jindal Steel & Power, Bata India, Escorts, Bajaj Electricals among others. 

Aftermarket Results 

Castrol India reported robust Q3 earnings, as the company’s net profit up 30.1 per cent to Rs 758.1 crore versus Rs 582.9 crore and revenue up 39.9 per cent at Rs 4,192.1 crore versus Rs 2,996.9 crore year-on-year (YoY). 

JM Financial reported healthy Q3 earnings, as profit up 4.2 per cent to Rs 260.7 crore versus Rs 250.1 crore and NII (net interest income) up 10.2 per cent to Rs 668.5 crore versus Rs 606.6 crore YoY 

TVS Motor reported Q3 profit at Rs 288 crore versus Rs 265 crore and revenue at Rs 5,706 crore versus Rs 5,391 crore YoY 

GSK Pharma’s Q3 Revenue from operations came at Rs 816 crore versus Rs 792 crore and profit at Rs 150 crore versus Rs 156 crore YoY 

Stocks in News 

TVS Motor appoints Ralf Speth, Non-Executive Director as Chairman of board effective April 12. Venu Srinivasan, to continue to be MD of the company designated as Chairman Emeritus 

Interim Dividend 

Blue Dart, Gravita India, HIL, Kirloskar Pneumatic, NIIT, P&G, Shriram Pistons to give interim dividend of Rs 25, Rs 3, Rs 20, Rs 1.6, Rs 3, Rs 95, and Rs 6 per share respectively on Tuesday. 

Bonus Issue and Stock Split 

MK Exim to give bonus issue of 2:1 and Schaeffler India to split stock from Rs 10 to Rs 2 per share on Tuesday.
