Q3FY22 Earnings: Tatva Chintan Pharma + Tata Steel Long + Angel One + Maharashtra Scooters
Tatva Chintan Pharma: The company on Monday reported a 10% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 23 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2022. It had posted a profit of Rs 21 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal. Its revenue from operations grew 31% YoY to Rs 105 crore compared to Rs 80 crore posted last year. The EBITDA fell 6% YoY to Rs 23 crore compared to Rs 25 crore posted last year. The company’s margin contracted to 22% in Q3FY22 compared to 32% posted in Q3FY21.

Tata Steel Long Products: The company on Monday reported a 66% YoY decline in the profit at Rs 104 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2022. It had posted a profit of Rs 304 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Its revenue from operations grew 23% YoY to Rs 1,677 crore compared to Rs 1,364 crore posted last year. EBITDA fell 39% to Rs 251 crore compared to Rs 409 crore posted last year. The company’s margin contracted to 15% in Q3FY22 against 39% posted in Q3FY21.
Angel One: The stoke broker company on Monday reported a 126% YoY rise in the profit at Rs 165 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2021. It had posted a profit of Rs 73 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Its revenue from operations grew 94% to Rs 597 crore in the reported quarter compared to Rs 307 crore posted last year. Net Interest Income grew 128% YoY to Rs 73 crore compared to Rs 32 crore posted last year. The company has reported a 19% QoQ growth in the total client base and 20% QoQ growth in average daily turnover. Angel One's board announced a third interim dividend of Rs 7 per share.
Maharashtra Scooters: The automobile company has reported a 25% YoY rise in the profits at Rs 3.3 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2021. It had posted a profit of Rs 2.64 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal. Its revenue from operations grew 40% to Rs 6 crore compared to Rs 4.28 crore. The company has posted a positive EBITDA of Rs 0.22 crore against a negative margin of Rs 1 crore.
Tata Power: Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a 100% subsidiary of Tata Power, has commissioned two Solar Power projects of 50 MW each at Prayagraj, and Banda in Uttar Pradesh. The plants are expected to generate more than 221.26 million units annually.
Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company: The company on Monday said it plans to acquire a 72.12 per cent stake in fintech payment solutions provider Payswiff Technologies Private Ltd for Rs 450 crore. The company, an NBFC, is part of the Murugappa Group. Payswiff is engaged in the business of enabling online payment gateway services for e-commerce businesses and provides e-commerce solutions.
PTC Industries: The Company has announced that wholly-owned subsidiary Aerolloy Technologies Limited has been allotted 20 Hectares (50 Acres) of land next to the Brahmos facility, by UPEIDA in Lucknow node of the UP Defence Industrial Corridor. The Company intends to set up fully integrated material manufacturing capabilities of all exotic materials, including Titanium, Cobalt, and Nickle Superalloys, at this facility. The project will be developed in three phases with a total peak manufacturing capacity of 5,000 tonnes per annum.
