Domestic stock markets closed with decent gains on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. The S&P BSE Sensex, advanced 221.26 points or 0.37% to 60,616.89. The Nifty 50 index added 52.45 points or 0.29% to 18,055.75. Both these indices have risen 1.70% in three sessions. But certain stocks came in the news after the market was closed. These stocks can impact the indices when it reopens on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. List of such five stocks:
Delta Corp: The company on Tuesday reported 55 times YoY jump in the consolidated profit at Rs 70.4 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2021 (Q3FY22). It had posted a profit of Rs 1.28 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year (Q3FY21). Its revenue from operations rose 104.6% to Rs 247.2 crore as compared to Rs 120.8 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 9 times YoY to Rs 107.2 crore in the reported quarter compared to Rs 11.74 times posted last year. Margins improved to 43.4% in Q3FY22 compared to 9.7% posted in Q3FY21.

Segmental performance
Casino Gaming Division: Gross Revenues grew 156% to Rs 249.65 crore as compared to Rs 97.51 crore posted last year. EBIT grew 37 times to Rs 99.4 crore compared to Rs 2.69 crore posted last year. Margins grew to 39.8% in Q3FY22 against 2.8% posted in Q3FY21.
Online Skill Gaming: Gross Revenues fell 15.6% to Rs 35.7 crore in the reported quarter compared to Rs 42.3 crore posted last year. It posted an EBIT loss of Rs 4.8 crore against an EBIT profit of Rs 1.21 crore posted last year.
Hospitality Division: Gross Revenues grew 106% to Rs 22.3 crore compared to Rs 10.8 crore posted last year. EBIT Loss stood at Rs 74 lakh compared to a loss of Rs 4.9 crore.
Besides, subsidiary Gaussian Networks Private Limited has appointed an advisor and banker for the IPO.
TTML: After Vodafone Idea, Tata Teleservices on Tuesday proposed for conversion of the interest related to AGR dues into equity. Post-conversion, the government holding is expected to be about 9.5 per cent in the company at Rs 41.50 per share. The net present value (NPV) of this interest is expected to be nearly Rs 850 crore.
CONCOR: Total throughput grew 6.8% YoY at 10.3 lakh tonnes in Q3FY22 compared to 9.6 lakh tonnes.
DLF: Clocks sales worth Rs 1500 crores for its initial offering in ONE Midtown, a newly launched luxury residential project in New Delhi.
Hindalco: Novelis Inc., the world leader in aluminium rolling and recycling, has announced that it will invest $365 million ($36.5 crore) to build a highly advanced recycling center for automotive in North America. With an annual casting capacity of 240 kt of sheet ingot, the company expect the facility to reduce the company’s carbon emissions by more than one million tons each year. The new recycling facility will be built adjacent to Novelis’ existing automotive finishing plant in Guthrie, Kentucky.
Federal Bank: Board of Directors of Fedbank Financial Services Limited (“FedFina”), a subsidiary of Federal Bank on January 11, 2022, approved initiating the process of an initial public offering (“IPO”) by way of fresh issue and offer for sale. The size of the IPO, portion of an offer for sale (if any), price and other details with respect to the proposed IPO by FedFina will be determined in due course.
Motherson Sumi: The January, February and March contracts in F&O will expire on January 13, 2022. New contracts will be launched on January 14, 2022. Changes in F&O contracts is happening due to the demerger of the domestic wiring business and January 14, 2022, is the ex-date for the demerger of its Domestic Wiring Harness business.
PI Industries Ltd: LIC has acquired 0.047% stakes in the company. With this acquisition, LIC stake has increased in the company from 4.989% to 5.036%.
