The domestic equity benchmarks ended with modest losses on Monday, April 11, 2022, tracking weak global stocks. Investors booked profits ahead of the European Central Bank (ECB) meeting on Thursday, and the release of US inflation data on Tuesday. The S&P BSE Sensex shed 482.61 points or 0.81% at 58,964.57. The Nifty 50 index fell 109.40 points or 0.62% at 17,674.95. But certain stocks came in the news after the market was closed. Q4FY22 Results: TCS + Delta Corp + Birla Tyres
TCS: India's largest IT firm Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Monday reported a 1.6% QoQ rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 9,926 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022. It had posted a profit of Rs 9,769 crore in the previous quarter ended December 31, 2021. Revenue from operations grew 3.5% QoQ to Rs 50,591 crore as compared to Rs 48,885 crore posted in the previous quarter. $ revenue grew 2.6% to $669.6 crore compared to $652.4 crore posted in the previous quarter. EBIT stood at Rs 12,628 crore, up 3.2% QoQ from Rs 12,237 crore posted in the December quarter. Margins remained unchanged at 25%. Besides, the company's board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 22 per share. Quarter highlights:

Delta Corp: The company on Monday reported a 17% YoY decline in the consolidated profit at Rs 48.11 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022. It had posted a consolidated profit of Rs 57.77 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Revenue from operations grew 3.3% YoY to Rs 218.32 crore as compared to Rs 211.34 crore posted last year. EBITDA stood at Rs 69 crore, down 13% YoY, from Rs 79.17 crore. The margin contracted to 31.60% in Q4FY22 against 37.36% posted in Q4FY21. Besides, the Board of Directors of the company has recommended a final dividend of Rs 1.25 per equity share. It also approved the draft Scheme of Amalgamation of Daman Entertainment Private Limited and Daman Hospitality Private Limited with Delta Corp Limited.
Birla Tyres Ltd: The tyre company on Monday reported a consolidated loss of Rs 445 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022. It had posted a loss of Rs 50 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. The company's consolidated revenue from operations fell to Rs 1 crore as compared to Rs 21.4 crore posted last year. It has reported an EBITDA loss of Rs 6.4 crore in the reported quarter as against an EBITDA loss of Rs 27.2 crore posted last year. The company has reported an exceptional loss of Rs 390 crore.

LIC IPO: (Zee Business EXCLUSIVE). LIC will file an RHP for its initial public offering (IPO) with the market regulator SEBI tomorrow, sources aware of the development informed Zee Business. LIC's IPO is expected to open from April 25-29, 2022. Government has plans to sell a 6.5% stake in LIC through IPO.
JSW Steel Ltd: JSW Utkal Steel Ltd (JUSL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of JSW Steel Ltd, on Monday said that it has received the environmental clearance (EC) for setting up of a Greenfield Integrated Steel Plant (ISP) of 1.32 crore tonnes per annum (MTPA) crude steel from the Union Ministry of Environment & Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC). The capital expenditure for the modern, green and environment-friendly integrated steel plant (ISP) project is expected to be approx. Rs 65,000 crores including associated facilities.
JSW Energy: JSW Energy (Barmer) Limited which operates a 1080 MW power plant at Barmer, Rajasthan, has received a notice from its JV and lignite supplier, Barmer Lignite Mining Company Limited (BLMCL) (51% owned by Rajasthan State Mines and Minerals Limited (RSMML)) intimating that BLMCL has been directed by RSMML, to stop mining operations at the two lignite mines (Kapurdi and Jalipa) in Rajasthan within 15 days. However, RSMML has been directed by the Government of Rajasthan to ensure uninterrupted lignite supply to the power plant. The company is in discussions with the Government of Rajasthan to ensure no impact on the power plant operations.
Ultratech Cement: The company has been declared the preferred bidder for Karnataka's Diggaon Limestone Block. The block has total Cement Grade geological resources of 530 million tonnes of limestone over an area of 7.86 sq km.
Wipro: The company on Monday announced that it has acquired 100% stakes in Convergence Acceleration Solutions, LLC (CAS Group), a U.S.-based consulting and program management company, in a deal worth USD 80 million (Rs 600 crore). Upfront consideration stands at USD 50 million and contingent consideration of USD 30 million to be payable over 3 years.
Maruti Suzuki: The company has reported a fire incident in a centre in one of the buildings of the Company’s Rohtak R&D centre where a new lab expansion was being carried out by a third party project company. The fire was brought under control and the root cause is being examined by the investigating authorities. Two people working with a contracting firm of the project company succumbed to the fire. This incident does not affect the production operations of the Company.
Telecom Stocks in Focus: Telecom regulator TRAI has, reportedly, recommended a 36-40% cut in the base price of 5G auctions.
Nestle India Ltd: The Board of Directors of the company on Monday declared an Interim Dividend of Rs 25per equity share for the year 2022.
Gufic Biosciences: Gufic has received permission from CDSCO (Central Licensing Approving Authority, Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation) to manufacture and sale of Isavuconazonium Sulfate API and Finished formulation Isavuconazole for Injection of 200 mg/vial. Isavuconazole for Injection of 200 mg/vial is indicated for the treatment of patients 18 years of age and older for the treatment of Invasive Aspergillosis and Invasive Mucormycosis.
Nykaa: Beauty marketplace Nykaa, reportedly, can pick up a minority stake in personal care direct-to-consumer brand Arata for $3-4 million. Arata's total valuation stands at $10 million.
ONGC / Reliance: The government, reportedly, has given some relief in terms of the revenue sharing contract in discovered small fields. It has reduced the penalties imposed on contractors for not completing drilling within the timeframe.
