Stock Market Today 9 September 2022: Tech Mahindra was the biggest gainers among the Nifty50 shares and ended at Rs 1127, up 3.36 per cent from the Thursday closing price.
Stock Market Today 9 September 2022: Indian stock markets ended the week on a positive note. On Friday, the BSE Sensex closed at 59,793.14, up by 104.92 points or 0.18 per cent from the Thursday closing price, while the 50-share Nifty50 index settled at 17833.35, up 34.60 by points or 0.19 per cent from the last closing.
In the 30-share BSE Sensex, 13 stocks were gainers at the closing time. The remaining 17 were losers.
Sensex top gainers:
1) Tech Mahindra shares ended at Rs 1127, up 3.36 per cent from the Thursday closing price.
2) Indusind Bank Shares ended at Rs 1136.90, up 2.6 per cent on the BSE from the Thursday closing price.
3) Infosy Bank shares ended at Rs 1511.85, up 2.43 per cent from the Thursday closing price.
4) HCL Technologies shares ended at Rs 948.80, up 1.9 per cent from the Thursday closing price.
5) Maruti Suzuki shares ended at Rs 8958.75, up 1.8 per cent from the Thursday closing price.
Sensex top Losers:
1) Ultratech Cement Company Shares ended at Rs 6790, down 1.8 per cent on the BSE from the Thursday closing price.
2) Mahindra & Mahindra Shares ended at Rs 1302.60, down 1.41 per cent from the Thursday closing price.
3) Larsen & Toubro ended at Rs 1949.40, down 1.26 per cent from the Thursday closing price.
4) Bajaj Finance India Shares ended at Rs 7183.55, down 1.03 per cent from the Thursday closing price.
