Stock Market Today 28th Sep 2022: Top Gainers and Losers - Indian stock markets ended in red for the sixth straight day. The BSE Sensex ended at 56,598.28, down by 509.24 points or 0.89 per cent while the Nifty50 settled at 16858.60, down by 149 points or 0.87 per cent from the Tuesday closing price.
In the 30-share Sensex, 18 stocks were trading in the red at the closing time while the remaining 12 were in the green.
Sensex top gainers:
1) Asian Paints shares ended at Rs 3571.20, up 2.90 per cent from the Tuesday closing price.
2) Sun Pharmaceuticals Shares ended at Rs 916.70, up 2.21 per cent on the BSE from the Tuesday closing price.
3) Dr Reddy's Laboratories Shares ended at Rs 4267.20, up 2.03 per cent on the BSE from the Tuesday closing price.
4) Power Grid Shares ended at Rs 207.80, up 1.42 per cent on the BSE from the Tuesday closing price.
5) Nestle India Shares ended at Rs 18904.90, up 1.23 per cent on the BSE from the Tuesday closing price.
Sensex top Losers:
1) ITC Shares ended at Rs 324.90, down 2.97 per cent on the BSE from the Tuesday closing price.
2) Axis Bank Shares ended at Rs 716.35, down 2.84 per cent from the Tuesday closing price.
3) Reliance Industries shares ended at Rs 2332.10, down 1.52 per cent from the Tuesday closing price.
4) Tata Steel Shares ended at Rs 95.25, down 2.41 per cent from the Tuesday closing price.
5) Indusind Bank Shares ended at Rs 1140.35, down 2.07 per cent from the Tuesday closing price.
