Stock Market Today 26 Aug 2022: Indian stock market today ended in the green. While the BSE Sensex closed at 58,833.87 and was up by 59 points or 0.10 per cent, the Nifty50 ended up by over 36 points or 0.21 per cent at 17558.90.

In the 30-share BSE Sensex, 22 stocks were gainers at the closing time. The remaining 8 were losers. Meanwhile, in the 50-stock Nifty50 index, 34 advanced, 15 declined while 1 remained unchanged.

1) NTPC Shares ended at Rs 163.40, up 2.80 per cent on the BSE from the Thursday closing price.  

2) Titan shares ended at Rs 2532.55, up 0.50 per cent from the Thursday closing price.

3) Power Grid Shares ended at Rs 230.60, up 1.92 per cent on the BSE from the Thursday closing price.

4) Kotak Mahindra Bank Shares ended at Rs 1901.35, up 1.71 per cent on the BSE from the Thursday closing price.

5) Larsen & Toubro Shares ended at Rs 1905.40, up 1.47 per cent on the BSE from the Thursday closing price.

Sensex top Losers:

1) Indusind Bank Shares ended at Rs 1068.45, down 1.92 per cent on the BSE from the Thursday closing price.  

2) HDFC Shares ended at Rs 2394.75, down 1.20 per cent from the Thursday closing price.  

3) Asian Paints Shares ended at Rs 3323.35, down 1.18 per cent from the Thursday closing price.  

4) Bharti Airtel Shares ended at Rs 730.55, down 1.02 per cent from the Thursday closing price.  

5) Dr Reddy;s Laboratories Shares ended at Rs 4215.55, down 0.60 per cent from the Thursday closing price.

1) Grasim Industries Shares ended at Rs 1682.95, up 3.58 per cent from the Thursday closing price. 

2) NTPC Shares ended at Rs 163.60, up 2.96 per cent from the Thursday closing price.  

3) Adani Ports Shares ended at Rs 840, up 2.94 per cent from the Thursday closing price.  

4) JSW Steel Shares ended at Rs 667.10, up 2.8 per cent from the Thursday closing price.
