Stock Market Today 20 Sept 2022: The Indian markets ended Tuesday’s session on a higher note. The BSE Sensex closed at 59,719.74, up by 578.51 points or 0.98 per cent while the 50-share Nifty index settled at 17,816.25, gaining 194 points or 1.1 per cent.

In the 30-share BSE Sensex, 26 stocks were gainers at the closing time and the remaining 4 were losers.         

Sensex Top Gainers:         

1) Sun Pharma shares ended at Rs 911.45, up over 4 per cent from Monday’s closing price.         

2) Dr Reddy shares ended at Rs 4,234.60, up over 3 per cent from Monday’s closing price.        

3) IndusInd Bank shares ended at Rs 1264.20, up over 3 per cent from Monday’s closing price.     

4) Tata Steel shares ended at Rs 105.85, up over 2.5 per cent from Monday’s closing price.          

5) Titan shares ended at Rs 2,675.85, up over 2 per cent from Monday’s closing price.     

Sensex Top Losers:         

1) Nestle India shares ended at Rs 1,8645.55, down around 0.7 per cent from Monday’s closing price.       

2) Power Grid shares ended at Rs 232.5, down around 0.2 per cent from Monday’s closing price.       

3) Infosys shares ended at Rs 1,388.35, down around 0.15 per cent from Monday’s closing price. 

4) Reliance Industries shares ended at Rs 2,502.05, down 0.01 per cent from Monday’s closing price.       

5) Asian Paint shares ended at Rs 3,317.20, down over 0.5 per cent from Monday’s closing price.    

In the 50-share Nifty index, 42 stocks were gainers at the closing time and the remaining 8 were losers.

2) Cipla shares ended at Rs 1,093.55, up over 5.5 per cent from Monday’s closing price.        

3) Sun Pharma shares ended at Rs 911.30, up over 4 per cent from Monday’s closing price.         

4) Eicher Motors shares ended at Rs 3,720.00, up over 3.5 per cent from Monday’s closing price.         

5) Dr Reddy’s shares ended at Rs 4,217.30, up around 3 per cent from Monday’s closing price.
