Stock market holidays 2021: Indian stock markets (BSE and NSE) will remain closed tomorrow, April 14. The stock exchanges will be closed on Wednesday to mark Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti.  This month the stock markets were also closed on April 2 on account of Good Friday. The share market will remain closed for equity segment, equity derivative segment and SLB Segment on April 14 and will resume regular business on Thursday, April 15.

Last week was already shortened due to Good Friday and now this week will have one less trading day for investors and traders. Meanwhile, incidentally market will again remain closed on next Wednesday, April 21, when the country will be celebrating Ram Navami.

Meanwhile, as per BSE Trading Holidays 2021 list, the share market will remain closed for 14 days in total this year.  

Meanwhile, indices gave a good closing on Tuesday ahead of the holiday on Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti. Nifty added 194 points to close above 14500-mark, while Senex zoomed past 48,500 by adding 660 points.  

The reverse in trends comes only a day after when Sensex had tanked over 1700 points, while the broader Nifty 50 index closed 3.53% lower at 14,310 over fear of soaring Covid 19 cases across India.
