Stock Market Holiday List 2021: The trading at BSE and NSE will remain closed on Friday (September 10, 2021) on account of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival. As per stock market holidays 2021 list available at the official BSE website — bseindia.com — no trading activity will take place in Equity, Derivative and SLB Segments tomorrow.

Today’s session will be considered as the last session of the week as the market would witness a long weekend with tomorrow being a bank holiday amid Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.

No action would be seen in the Commodity segment in the morning session, as well as a Commodity market, will remain closed in the morning session from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, however, it will resume in evening session from 5:00 PM as per its schedule.
This is the only stock market holiday falling in September 2021. The next stock market holiday will fall on 15th October 2021 on the occasion of Dussehra, followed by Diwali holidays on November 4 and 5, 2021, and eventually one last after Diwali on November 19, 2021, for Gurunanak Jayanti.
BSE and NSE are going to close almost after a gap of over three weeks as the earlier stock market holiday had fallen on 19th August 2021 on account of Muharram.
The Indian stock market had remained close for a maximum of days this year in the month of April, when both Sensex and Nifty was closed on 2nd April for Good Friday, 14 April for Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti, and 21st April for Ram Navami celebration.
The markets on Thursday have been trading mute with Sensex gaining 0.02 per cent while surging 0.01 per cent intraday trade. The market in the last two days has been reporting a mute performance, unlike last week's sessions, as 4 out of five sessions witnessed record-high closing.
A couple of sessions in the current week also witnessed record high sessions, however, the last two sessions had been a little mute for the India markets, mostly following the global markets suite.
