Rakesh Jhunjhunwala Portfolio: Big Bull books over 32 pct partial profit in this stock; earns around Rs 40.5 cr

Rakesh Jhunjhunwala Portfolio: Ace Indian stock market investor sold 12 lakh Escorts shares, trimming his Escorts portfolio from 76 lakh in September ended quarter to 64 lakh in December ended quarter. As per the shareholding data available with the BSE, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala had 76 lakh shares in September ended quarter while the number of stocks fell down to 64 lakhs in December ended quarter. That means Rakesh Jhunjhunwala earned around Rs 337.45 per Escorts share in the last six months leading to a gain of around Rs 40.50 crore.

As per the BSE data, Jhunjhunwwala had 76 lakh Escorts shares in the September ended quarter that slipped to 64 lakh in December ended quarter — reducing his shareholding to 4.75 per cent from 5.64 per cent in the company. Escorts share price closing on 30th June 2020 was Rs 1,040.

Escorts share price slips 3.3% post Jhunjhunwala profit-booking

As per the BSE data, on 13th January 2021, the Escorts share price had closed at Rs 1364.40 while it closed at Rs 1319 on Friday i.e. on 15th January, which means the Escorts stock has fallen around 3.3 per cent over the next two days.
