ONGC Dividend Record Date 2022, ONGC Share Dividend: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has fixed the record date for the dividend it will pay to the company's shareholders. The government-owned oil and gas explorer in a regulatory said that it has fixed August 19 as the record date for the dividend payment. A record date is a date that helps the company to determine the eligibility of shareholders for a corporate action like a dividend, share bonus, stock split among others.
Investors or shareholders having ONGC shares in their Demat account on August 19 will be eligible for receiving the dividend amount. ONGC has announced to pay 65 per cent dividend for the financial year FY22. Accordingly, ONGC dividend amount that will be payable to the shareholders will be Rs 3.25 per share having a face value of Rs 5 each.

ONGC dividend of 65% dividend is subject to shareholders' approval during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on August 29. The dividend, if approved at the AGM, will be paid within 30 days of declaration.
"Company has fixed Friday, the 19th August, 2022 as the 'Record Date' for determining members eligible to receive final dividend of `3.25 per share (i.e.@ 65%) for the financial year 2021-22," ONGC said in a regulatory filing.

ONGC share price on Tuesday (August 16) tumbled more than 1% to trade below Rs 138 apiece on the NSE. The scrip has delivered a negative return of around 5 per cent this year while yielding more than 18 per cent return in 1 year. ONGC share price 52-week range is Rs 194.94 - Rs 108.50.
