Nykaa share price: FSN E-Commerce Ventures, the parent company of Nykaa’s shares rose more than 12 per cent in the afternoon session as of 1:45 pm. 

At the counter, Nykaa stock quoted Rs 212.40 apiece on NSE which was 12.83 per cent on the higher side and on BSE, the stock traded at Rs 212.05 a piece which was 12.82 per cent higher. 

Reasons for Nykaa share rally:

FII buying 

Nykaa sold around 2 crore shares in a bulk deal on November 10, where Norway's Norges Bank on account of Government Petroleum Fund bought 3,981,350 shares paying Rs 173.35 apiece,  Aberdeen Standard Asia Focus PLC bought 4,272,334 shares at Rs 173.18 apiece and Narotam S Sekhsaria bought 14745150 Nykaa shares paying Rs 173.70 per share.

Nykaa Bonus Share 

Nykaa is also one of the bonus stocks today as its bonus stock record date is November 11. In October 2022, Nykaa had announced bonus shares in 5:1 ratio and had fixed the record date on November 3, 2022 which was later revised and its bonus share record date was decided as November 11, 2022. It's one-year lock-in period for anchor investors ended on 10th November 2022, the day when stock traded ex-bonus on Indian bourses.

On November 1, Nykaa had released its July-September quarter results. The company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 5 crore, up more than 330 per cent as compared to Rs 1 crore in the previous year. The company's revenue from operations rose over 39 per cent to Rs 1,230 crore from Rs 885 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

Post listing, Nykaa stock hit a record high of Rs 2573.70 on NSE on November 26 last year. Thereafter the stock started correcting and hit a record low of Rs 975 on Friday, 28 October 2022, sliding below the IPO issue price of Rs 1,125.

Nykaa was founded by Falguni Nayar in 2012. The shares of the Mumbai-based company were listed on NSE and BSE on November 10 last year at Rs 2001, a premium of 77.87 per cent.
