Nykaa bonus share news: Nykaa share price on Thursday jumped over 4 per cent on account of the announcement that the company could soon announce bonus shares. The counter made a high of Rs 1349.90 on the NSE in the morning trade, jumping over 4 per cent.
Fsn E-Commerce Ventures, the parent company of Nykaa, in a regulatory filing on Wednesday, said that the company's board of directors is scheduled for October 3 to consider and approve the issuance of bonus shares to shareholders.
“We wish to inform you that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on Monday, October 03, 2022, to, interalia, consider and approve the issuance of Bonus Shares to the equity shareholders of the Company in the ratio, as it may deem fit and seeking shareholders’ approval by way of postal ballot and such other approval(s), as the Board may deem appropriate,” it said.
Nykaa is an Indian e-commerce company, founded by Falguni Nayar in 2012. It sells beauty, wellness and fashion products across websites, mobile apps and 100+ offline stores. In 2020, it became a unicorn startup.
The company went public last year. It made a debut on the exchanges on November 10, 2021, listing at 80 per cent premium.
The 2-week range of Nykaa's share price is Rs 2,573.70 - Rs 1,207.50.
