Navratri gift for Nykaa shareholders: E-commerce website to give 5 bonus shares for 1 share

Nykaa Share Bonus Record Date, Ratio: Nykaa has announced that it will give bonus equity shares to its investors. FSN E-Commerce Ventures Limited, the parent company of Nykaa, on Monday, October 3, informed the exchanges about the bonus share ratio and bonus share record date.

As per the filing, Nykaa board has announced five bonus shares for each equity share held by shareholders.

"Bonus Issue of Equity Shares in the proportion 5 (Five) fully paid-up Equity Share of ₹ 1/- each for every 1 (One) fully paid-up Equity Shares of ₹ 1/- each held by the shareholders of the Company as on the record date, subject to shareholders’ approval by way of postal ballot," the company said.

Nykaa Share Bonus Record Date

Nykaa has fixed November 03, 2022, as the record date for the purpose of determining the eligibility of shareholders for receiving bonus shares.  

Nykaa made its market debut in November 2021 at a premium of 80 per cent from its issue price of Rs 1,125. In 2020, it became the first Indian unicorn startup headed by a woman.

Nykaa share price on Monday, October 3, settled 2.55 higher on the NSE at Rs 1304.55. The counter has delivered a negative return of around 38 per cent in 2022 so far and almost 45 per cent from its 52-week high. Nykaa share price 52-week range is Rs 2,573.70 - Rs 1,207.50. 

Earlier, The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), a premier global management institute, signed an agreement with Nykaa, to set up the “Nykaa Chair in Consumer Technology.” The Chair will work closely with students of IIMA and faculty members from Marketing and Information Systems areas.
