Nykaa Share News, Nykaa Bonus Share Record Date 2022, Nykaa Shares Ex Bonus Date, Q2 Results: Nykaa has announced to change the record date for the issuance of bonus shares. According to an exchange filing by FSN E-Commerce Ventures, the parent company of Nykaa, the company's board has revised the record date for determining the eligibility of the shareholders who would receive the benefit of the corporate action.

Nykaa Bonus Share Ratio 

The company had on October 3 approved the issuance of bonus shares to its existing shareholders in the ratio of 5:1. It means that Nykaa shareholders will get 5 bonus shares for every one share.

Nykaa Bonus Record Date 2022 New 

The company had declared that the record date for the Nykaa bonus share would be November 3. But the e-commerce company which sells beauty, wellness and fashion products has now postponed the record date by a week. The new record date for the Nykaa bonus share is November 11, according to the filing.

"We refer to our letter dated October 03, 2022 regarding issue of Bonus Equity Shares of the Company in the ratio of 5 (Five) fully paid-up Equity Shares of ₹ 1/- each for every 1 (One) fully paid-up Equity Share of ₹ 1/- each, subject to approval of shareholders by way of Postal Ballot and inform that pursuant to Regulation 42 of SEBI Listing Regulations, the Board of the Company has fixed Friday, November 11, 2022 as the ‘Record Date’ for the purpose of determining the members eligible for Bonus Equity Shares," the company informed the exchanges.

Nykaa was founded by Falguni Nayar in 2012. The shares of the Mumbai-based company were listed on NSE and BSE on November 10 last year at Rs 2001, a premium of 77.87 per cent. Nykaa IPO was subscribed 81.78 times and the price band was fixed at Rs 1,085-1,125 per share.

Nykaa share price has tanked around 40 per cent in the past 6 months and 16 per cent in one month. Post listing, the stock hit a record high of Rs 2573.70 on NSE on November 26 last year. Thereafter the stock started correcting and hit a record low of Rs 975 on Friday, 28 October 2022, sliding below the IPO issue price of Rs 1,125.

Shares of Nykaa on Monday zoomed 20 per cent to settle at Rs 1152.75 apiece on the NSE. On Tuesday, Nykaa rallied over 4 per cent to quote Rs 1,208 apiece on NSE in afternoon deals.

Nykaa Bonus Share Ex Date 2022

A share or stock trades ex-date usually a business day before the record date. Accordingly, Nykaa bonus ex-date would be a trading session prior to the record date which is November 11. Nykaa shares ex-date would be November 10 (Thursday), meaning the stocks of the beauty brand would trade ex-bonus date just a day before the record date.

If a person buys a share on/after ex-date, he/she will not be eligible to receive the benefits of the corporate actions like a bonus, split, dividend and more. To receive the bonus shares of Nykaa, one must purchase the shares at least one business day ahead of ex-date.

Nykaa Q2FY23 Results, Second Quarter Results 

On Tuesday, Nykaa released its July-September quarter results. The company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 5 crore, up more than 330% as compared to Rs 1 crore in the previous year. The company's revenue from operations rose over 39 per cent to Rs 1,230 crore from Rs 885 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
