NSE adds 8 Stocks to F&O segment, trading to start from October 1; market lot, scheme of strikes and quantity freeze limit to be notified today
The new entrants into the F&O segment include Abbott India Limited, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited, Dalmia Bharat Limited, Delta Corp Limited, The India Cements Limited, JK Cement Limited, Oberoi Realty Limited and Persistent Systems Limited.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has added eight more stocks to the futures & options (F&O) segment based on the stock selection criteria. The eight additional securities would be available for trading with effect from October 01, 2021.
The new entrants into the F&O segment include Abbott India Limited, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited, Dalmia Bharat Limited, Delta Corp Limited, The India Cements Limited, JK Cement Limited, Oberoi Realty Limited and Persistent Systems Limited.

The information was provided by NSE in a circular dated August 31, 2021, where it said, "Members are advised to note that based on the stock selection criteria as prescribed by SEBI vide master circular no. SEBI/HO/MRD/DP/CIR/P/2016/135 dated December 16, 2016, SEBI circular no SEBI/HO/MRD/DP/CIR/P/2018/67 dated April 11, 2018, and approval received from SEBI, members are hereby notified that the futures and options contracts on following 8 additional securities would be available for trading w.e.f. October 01, 2021, subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria of Quarter sigma computation cycle of September 2021."
The market lot, scheme of strikes and quantity freeze limit of the above-mentioned securities will be informed to members through a separate circular on September 30, 2021, the NSE added.
