Motherson Sumi Wiring gains on listing of 126.31 crore bonus shares

Motherson Sumi Wiring India Bonus Share: Shares of Motherson Sumi Wiring India Ltd, NSE: MSUMI, traded higher on Monday, November 28, as 126.31 crore bonus shares issued by the manufacturer of wiring harnesses made stock market debut. The stock opened at Rs 57.20 apiece on NSE and climbed 1.50 per cent to hit day's high of Rs 57.90 at 9:42 AM.

Earlier on November 25, the company had received trading approval from BSE and NSE for the bonus issue of 126,31,73,695 equity shares of Re 1 each aggregating Rs 126.31 crore as fully paid-up bonus shares.

"....The shares will become tradeable on both BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited effective Monday, November 28, 2022...," the company said in exchange filing.
Motherson Sumi Bonus 

The company had earlier this month issued bonus shares to its shareholders. The company distributed two bonus shares for ever 5 shares to its share holders. 

In past month, the counter has yielded a negative return of around 5 per cent while it has delivered a positive return of over 24 per cent in the last 6 months. Motherson Sumi Wiring India's stock 52-week range is Rs 71.15 - Rs 40.00.
