In the 30 share BSE Sensex, 22 stocks were trading in the green at the end of Thursday’s trading session while the remaining 8 were trading in the red. The top five gainers on Thursday at close were Titan, ONGC, Larsen and Toubro, Axis Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank while the top 5 losers were Indusind Bank, Powergrid, Bajaj Auto, Dr Reddy's and Mahindra & Mahindra.

Meanwhile in the 50-share NSE Nifty 50, at the closing time 35 shares advanced, 16 declined while one stock remain unchanged. Titan, ONGC, Eicher Motors, Larsen and Toubro and Axis Bank were the top 5 gainers. The top 5 losers in the day’s trade were Indusind Bank, Wipro, Dr Reddy's, Tata Steel and Bajaj Auto.
Nifty Midcap 50 and Nifty Bank and Nifty Financial Services ended the day in the green.

Among the sectoral indices, Nifty Bank ended 0.8 per cent up on Thursday at 35,649.00.
Nifty Auto ended flat at 10,647.65 .
State-run banks continue to perform batter as Nifty PSU Bank ended up 0.4 per cent on Thursday at 2495.75
Nifty FMCG, Nifty IT, Nifty Media and Nifty Metal ended in the green. Nifty Pharma ended negatively.
Today, the USDINR futures were trading at 73.0550 on the BSE against the USD at 3:50 pm going down by 0.5 per cent.
